Shining During the Storm

The Apostle Paul states in 2 Corinthians 4:8 that at times he would be pressed on all sides, but not crushed. He says it was possible for him to withstand this pressure because his inner man in strengthened and renewed daily (v. 16-17). How can we do this ourselves?
